All prices include 20% VAT and do not include any travel expenses. As far as possible, we try to bundle viewing appointments within a region in such a way that the proportional travel costs are kept as low as possible.
*)For older boats and yachts, depending on their general condition, an individual surcharge of 5 to 20 percent will be charged.
The following travel costs are to be expected in the course of an appraisal including test drive (Attention! These are only approximate values. The exact costs are calculated on an order-specific basis)
Island surcharge depending on season and ferry tax approx. 20%
In the case of joint assignments (several assessments in one region), travel costs are only charged on a pro rata basis.
“My wife and I commissioned Mr. Ingolf Schneider to prepare a purchase appraisal for a high-quality sailing boat.
After just a short time, his trained eye and keen nose detected considerable damage in the keel area. A defect that would not have been visible to us with the naked eye.
We are very grateful to Mr. Schneider for this discovery, as it not only saved us from a high financial loss, but possibly also from a serious threat to our lives.”

Congratulations to the new owner and many happy and relaxing hours on the water with the family! […]
Identification of serious structural damage in the course of the purchase appraisal of a Bavaria 390 Caribic in Croatia. As it turned out, the starboard stringer was broken and there were also considerable cracks on the port side. It’s a good feeling to have prevented a very costly bad purchase here!
During the course of the purchase appraisal of an Elan 381, considerable damage due to grounding was discovered: broken hull laminate in the keel area and multiple cracks in the area of the entire inner keel matrix. Thanks to our expert opinion, the purchase could be reversed and the customer received his deposit back in […]
Survey and sea trials of an Island Packet 485 – a seasoned blue water yacht in well-maintained condition. Always a feast for the eyes when a cutter rig is fully sailed. Much joy to the new owner, it was a pleasure to accompany the purchase! Here: D-Marin Dalmacija, Sukosan, Croatia
Purchase appraisal of a Lagoon 420, which will serve its future owner as a floating home. We wish her good winds and always a handful of water under her keel. Here: ACI Marina Trogir, Croatia
